STRIVING FOR SOLAR TECHNOLOGY SUCCESS IN
THE SUNSHINE STATE IN 2011
Ms. Valdes volunteered as Solar Energy Advisor to the State of Florida on July 2011 in order to achieve a greater Economic Empowerment for the Solar Industry in the Sunshine State. Ms. Mary Bane (Energy Director) for Governor Rick Scott acknowledged receipt of Ms. Valdes proposal dated July 26, 2011 via e-mail.
Ms. Bane’s response and feedback to Ms. Valdes proposal stated the following: The proposal covered a wide variety of general topics tied to a thriving solar industry creating jobs in Florida. The State is trying to identify ways to encourage solar energy and other renewable energy.

SHOWING SUPPORT FOR FARE & MEETING FORMER TAMPA MAYOR PAM IORIO
Mike Antheil is the Executive Director of the Florida Alliance for Renewable Energy FARE. Him and the FARE team have done a great job for the Solar Industry in the entire State of Florida regarding increasing the awareness of the importance of Solar Technology in the Community, State and Nation.
FARE Tours around Florida have brought many together allowing Ms. Valdes the opportunity to meet with the Tampa Mayor and Florida Governor. Further, they also showcased many Resdential, Commercial and Governmental Solar Projects in 2011.









AT THE $69 BILLLION STATE BUDGET SIGNING CEREMONY, WHICH WAS A"PRIVATE EVENT"
Ms. Valdes was an honored invited guest and she proposed the advantages of a Trillion Dollar Solar Technology Industry to be considered and implemented for the Sunshine State to Florida Governor Rick Scott.
Gov. Rick Scott's budget scene scripted down to who could attend in May 2011.
The Republican Party of Florida rented the town square for the ceremony, which gave party officials the right to say who stays and who goes, deputies said. To Read More Click Here

Solar Celebration: A Community Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.
State Representative Bill Galvano and The Community Coalition on Homelessness CCH dedicate their solar energy system to the largest non-profit installation in Florida!
Solar energy mini-seminars will be held for home-owners, businesses, and nonprofits educating them about accessing grants, rebates and state and federal incentives to fund their own solar projects.


The 209 panel 48kW rooftop system produces 80,000 kWh of electricity per year, which saves the homeless center an estimated 32% in utility costs.
